We saw the quality of Andy's work at some friend's of ours and they highly recommended him to us. When I left this area to move to Scotland for a few years I was very happy to leave the maintenance of my one acre, former "open garden" (our house was then ‘let’) in Andy's very capable hands. 3 years later we returned and moved to a new house with an empty garden, which Andy then laid out to my plans. I had retired from working as a Garden Designer so had not had the chance of working with Andy on garden make-overs in earlier years. I was delighted to note the quality of his work, and that he never resorts to ‘shortcuts’. His construction of ‘hard landscaping’, laying of new lawns, stone work for retaining walls, and new fences is excellent and I have found him and his team very reliable and tidy in their working methods – and am always impressed at the speed at which they work! Andy also has a good eye for design and I was happy to accept his suggestions whilst we were laying out the new garden. The garden has two more stages of ‘work in progress’ before the layout is complete, and I look forward to Andy’s help in achieving this.
